Dr. Mallori Morris earned her Veterinary degree with honors as a member of the inaugural graduating class of the Long Island University Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Master of Science in Animal Public Policy, graduating summa cum laude, from Tufts University. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology, graduating magna cum laude, from University of Maine.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Morris completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, where she further developed her passion for patient care and surgery. Dr. Morris has always had a strong passion for all animals and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.

Dr. Sheldon Yessenow

Dr. Yessenow is a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, he left his native Ohio and moved to Connecticut to begin practicing his profession. In 1982 he founded Oronoque Animal Hospital in Stratford, where he continues to practice today.

​Dr. Yessenow developed a passion for helping homeless pets after working with a variety of animal rescue groups, and with the Bridgeport, CT and Stratford, CT animal shelters, where he previously served as shelter veterinarian. In 2006, Dr. Yessenow accepted the position of Team Leader for the Connecticut State Animal Response (CTSART) Team. In that capacity he was appointed Regional Emergency Support Function Committee Chairman for the Region 1 Emergency Planning Team.
